2024 TDS IRC Data Scientist Collaboration

The Translational Data Science Integrated Research Center (TDS IRC) and Data Science Lab (DaSL) have partnered together to provide support for data scientists to work with Fred Hutch labs to accelerate computationally intensive, data science-enabled projects and provide training for researchers to develop and enhance their computational skills. Investigators are encouraged to identify an important problem or question whose solution requires data-focused research and significant computational or data science expertise. Specifically, this RFA provides funding for Fred Hutch labs to collaborate with DaSL Data Scientists on a proposed project, with a focus on providing training for researchers to develop the core skills needed to increase computational expertise across Fred Hutch.

This year, we are looking to fund projects that need additional support from staff in Translational Analytics, Research Informatics, and/or Human Computer Interaction. Applications are due July 1, 2024 by 5pm PDT via the Info Ready Portal.
