Chapter 2 Make a Leanpub Account

Use the following steps to create a new Leanpub account.

  1. Go to https://leanpub.com/sign_up. Fill out your name and email. Choose a username and password and click “Create Account”.

    Fred Hutch is filled in as name, hutchdasl at gmail.com is filled in as email, fredhutch22 is filled in as username, and a hidden password is typed in. The create an account button is highlighted.

  2. Confirm you are logged in. You should see your name above your email address when you click on the hamburger dropdown menu.

    The user name and email are listed at the bottom of the hamburger dropdown menu.

It is very important that you fill in your real name, otherwise it won’t appear on your completion certificate!
