Fred Hutch cBioPortal Release

The Data Science Lab (DaSL) in conjunction with Fred Hutch Scientific Computing (SciComp) is excited to announce the launch of the Fred Hutch instance of cBioPortal! cBioPortal allows users to easily explore multi-omic cancer data with an easy-to-use point-and-click interface. The Fred Hutch deployment of cBioPortal enables researchers to:

  • Utilize the powerful visualization tools of the application to facilitate visualization of interim data.
  • Establish controlled access to their study data, ensuring data protection.
  • Host and share their data through the Fred Hutch instance of cBioPortal thus facilitating collaborations.
  • Analyze individually identifiable research data as this instance has been reviewed and approved by InfoSec for such purposes.

For more details on what the Fred Hutch instance of cBioPortal can do for you, read our SciWiki documentation and visit cbioportal.fredhutch.org to give it a spin. Or if you prefer a more hands-on demonstration, feel free to schedule a Data House Call to walk through the tool with us one-on-one.
